About me: Most of my travel experience has been solo and budget-conscious, but I've traveled in every which way — with family, friends, and significant others; in large and small groups; for school and for work; and while living overseas. I founded Bookt Travel after becoming a travel advisor in early 2025. 

​

​The more I travel, the longer my list gets! But lately, I've been focused on my "must-see" and "must-do" destinations, including seeing more of the Seven Wonders of the World, visiting all seven continents, and exploring more of the world's national parks. I love helping clients figure out their travel style and realize their own travel goals. Whether it's tracking family history, getting to know a new city or country during an extended stay, or taking cooking classes in Tuscany — and everything in between — I'm eager to help you make your travel dreams a reality.

I recently returned from a cruise to Antarctica; studied abroad twice in college (in London and Rome); have driven ATVs on three continents; parasailed in Hawaii; marched with penguins in the Falkland Islands; stayed in a convent in Vienna; watched street artists paint in Buenos Aires; eaten lobster rolls in Maine; walked the haunted streets of Pompeii; sailed across the Adriatic Sea; cried in the camps left at Auschwitz in Poland; chased howler monkeys in Costa Rica; tripped on cobblestones in Stockholm's Gamla Stan; got caught in more than one hailstorm while exploring the national parks in Southern Utah; circumnavigated all of Crete in a tiny rental car; drank Guinness from the source in Dublin; climbed the steps to the Redeemer's feet in Rio de Janeiro; rode funiculars to the top of the Alps in Switzerland; spent a year working remotely from Edinburgh, Budapest, Prague, and the Greek Islands; slept on trains while criss-crossing Europe; scaled the old city walls of Dubrovnik; paced the halls of Alcatraz in San Francisco; got lost in the Louvre in Paris; rode a horse through a blizzard in Iceland; practiced yoga at sunrise at Red Rocks in Colorado; stood in awe atop Machu Picchu; attended Easter services with Pope Benedict at the Vatican; explored caves in Portugal's Algarve coast; hiked in Argentinian Patagonia (photo above!); and lots, lots more.
